poizin 2013 Zinfandel –
2013 Zinfandel – poizin – Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County Deep, dark garnet in color, the bright nose exhibits plums, raspberry and blackberries. The rich yet not overripe flavors of red-vine licorice, anise, spicy strawberry, and red currants are fullbodied and true to the varietal. The Syrah in the blend contributes black pepper spice, racy acidity and firm structure, and gives this wine a rustic personality. The moderate oak contributes subtle vanilla and a smoky nuance. Enjoy this poizin with caution; it is The Wine to Die for! Wine Notes: Harvest Dates: From September 10 through October 17 2013.
