Open Entry Fee $100.00 (75% payback)
Top 15 from each go round in each division in the open qualify for clean slate short go on Sunday.
a. Open will be a 5D (1/2 sec splits)
b. If a horse/rider combination qualifies in 1st go and in 2nd go they will be skipped in 2nd go and next
horse/rider combination will qualify.
Youth Entry Fee $30 (75% payback)
a. Youth will be a 4D (full second splits)
b. Youth is 16 and under as of January 1
Open Incentive Classes
a. PBRIP - $20.00 entry fee (80% payback)
i. Payback will be straight payback based on fastest time
ii. APHA and PBRIP membership/rules apply
iii. Memberships will be available at the race
Exhibitions $3.00 and limited to 60 seconds.
a. Any exhibition that exceeds 60 seconds will be charged for an additional exhibition and must be paid prior
to jackpot starting or purchasing exhibitions at the next event.
Contestant will be given 3 gate calls. Failure to enter the arena after the 3rd call will result in a no time.
Time will begin when contestant crosses the time line.
No Time will be given for the following:
a. Breaks the pattern
i. A $10 fine will be accessed if contestant circles a barrel more than once during a run
b. Knocks over a barrel
c. Runs out of order
Re-runs will be granted in the event of timer failure or if barrels are placed off of stakes. If a re-run is not taken then
contestant will receive a refund of entry fees.
Dress code: Shirt (No spaghetti straps or tube tops), jeans, heeled riding shoe, hat/helmet optional.
All contestants, family members, and individuals joining contestant at a Southern Grace Productions event are
expected to exhibit good sportsmanship. There will be zero tolerance for any abuse to any horse/individual by
contestant or any individual attending event.
Any issues that arise that are not covered in these rules of Southern Grace Productions will be decided on by
Southern Grace Productions management and will serve as a rule and be final. Southern Grace Productions reserves
the right to amend rules as necessary.
A negative coggins is required on all horses attending a Southern Grace Productions event.
