KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS NEWS
This weekend the St. Thomas More Knights of
Columbus Council 4397 will be conducting a Baby
Bottle Campaign on behalf of Mary's Shelter. Please
take a bottle from the tables located at the exits of the
Church home with you and place your spare change
inside. Please return the bottle the weekend of
November 29-30. One hundred percent of donations
will go to the Shelter in Bethlehem. What a wonderful
statement of PRO-LIFE you will be making! For more

for large orders ($400 in one grocery store or $200 in any

STM 2014 CHRISTMAS BAZAAR NEWS
Granny's Attic - This Sun., Oct. 19th, following all
Masses, the Bazaar will host the final parish collection
of new or gently used items including pre-owned home
goods, decor, jewelry, toys, sporting equipment, music,
etc. Please box your treasures and bring them to the
School Gym parking lot. (No clothing or books.) If you
have any questions, please contact Terri Carbone (610442-6240) or Michele Dapper (610-659-7997.) There
will be one final round of collections on Fri., Nov. 7,
from 1:00-6:00 p.m. in the Family Center.
Knitting Committee - to arrange for collection of hand

ADULT FAITH FORMATION
On Mon., Oct. 20, 7:00-7:45 p.m., come to the Disciple's
Room for "Our Belief in Christ in Life: What's the true
difference between the laity and the consecrated?" Dr.
Brennan Purcell will lead the discussion of #897-945 in the
Catechism. Also, you can download the podcast for the
session at the parish website. Click on "Adult Formation,"
then select "Catechism Podcasts" from the dropdown
menu.

40 DAYS FOR LIFE CAMPAIGN
Began Sept. 24 and ends on Sunday, Nov. 2. This is 40
days for prayer and fasting for an end to abortion. Please

YOUTH MINISTRY NEWS
This year, Catholic Heart Work Camp will take place in
Cumberland, MD from July 5-11. More info will be
sent out within the next couple of weeks. Mark your
calendars now for this event and if you are interested in

MERCY SPECIAL LEARNING CENTER
SILVER ANNIVERSARY GALA/AUCTION
This event will be held on Sat., Nov. 1 at the Holiday
Inn in Fogelsville. "Angel of Mercy" honoree this year
will be William Straccia, Sr. for his years of outstanding
service to the school. The event will feature a silent and
live auction and a special dance performance by Mercy's
students. Cost is $125 per person and sponsorship

ALL CYO COACHES
Are required to attend a coaches' clinic within one year
of starting to coach or they will be ineligible to coach. No
walk-ins will be permitted. Each clinic will give an
overview of insurance requirements, sports medicine, and
integration of our Catholic faith and CYO. A
registration form is included in this bulletin.
A CALL TO PRAYER
Our Medjugorje Prayer Group is seeking new members
to join us. Meetings are held every Monday from 7:009:00 p.m. in the Parish Center Marian Room. Our prayer
format follows the one dictated by the Blessed Mother to
Ivan Dragicevic, one of the visionaries from Medjugorje
and includes the rosary, Divine Mercy chaplet, scripture
reading and the monthly message of the Blessed Mother.
Mary has requested the formation of prayer groups
throughout the world. Please join us and bring a rosary.
