This month’s prayer is for “Churches Facing tough Decisions During a Time of Economic Uncertainty”
The Funeral Service for Elizabeth the daughter of Sheila and Gareth Davies will take place at 1.00pm on
Wednesday 17th September. Refreshments will be served in the Octagon following the service. Please
remember Sheila, Gareth and Caroline in your prayers at this very sad time.
Action for Children The total so far collected from the boxes is £893. The proceeds from the lunch are
£316. A really big thank you to all who are supporting the work of Action for Children.

Suffolk Historic Churches Cycle Ride Many thanks to all who supported yesterdays event whether it was
cycling, manning the “welcome table” during the day and of course sponsoring our cyclists.

World War One Memorial Exhibition
Our small exhibition board near the entrance to the Sanctuary has produced some response from members of
the congregation and others. If you know of anyone who may be interested in our war memorial or the
exhibition, or may know any relatives of those listed on the memorial, please ask them to view the
exhibition and contact me with further information.

The Salvation Army make up and distribute Food Parcels for people in Woodbridge who because of
various circumstances have not enough money to buy food and other items for their daily needs.
Churches Together has agreed to support this mission. A list of items suitable to be given is on the notice board
in the foyer and a box is available to collect any items you may wish to contribute.
