17th October 2014 FROM THE HEADMASTER’S DESK ST FRANCIS COLLEGE LAUNCHES NEURONET LEARNING Parents are invited to a Neuronet Talk by Elizabeth Rhodes on Thursday evening 30th October 2014 in our school hall, commencing at 18:00. The talk should be over by 19:00. Neuronet is an innovative programme designed to bring therapeutic interventions into the classroom. Sometimes our learners are not neurologically ready to learn because of various forms of deprivation (like frequent ear infections at key times of language development that impacts sound discrimination). This programme will give our learners extra practice and opportunities to integrate different development skills that are taught in the classroom. Neuronet facilitates learning through movement where neuron networks are created and strengthened so that learning can take place. It helps in motor skills, language and information processing.
