On Sunday 2nd November there will be ice cream for all children at our monthly morning tea. After School Religious Education Classes ( for children who do not attend a Catholic School ) held on Fridays at 3.35pm for approx one hour during school term. The program includes preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation. Josephite Calendars 2015 will be on sale after Masses next weekend for $6.00 each. Parish Pilgrimage: Last Sunday over 40 parishioners and friends enjoyed a wonderful outing to New Norcia. Although it was raining when we left by the time we reached there the sun came out to greet us. It included a tour of the museum conducted by Dom Chris. We thank those parishioners who joined us and hope they had an enjoyable time and a glorious experience. 200 CLUB: The winner for week eight is John Dillon with the winning number 67. Please collect your winnings from Fr Stan. Rosary: To celebrate October as the month of the Rosary, before our 9.00am weekday Masses the rosary will be recited at 8.30am during October. Save the Date: Put on your dancing shoes! Support the Archdiocese’s Personal Advocacy Service (supporting people with intellectual disability ) at a fundraising dance to be held at the Herb Graham Centre, Mirrabooka at 7.00pm on Saturday 1st November. Entry is only $20pp with all proceeds to Personal Advocacy. Make up a table of 8 or 10, food, water and soft drinks on sale .BYOG & glasses. The cost is $8,100 and is fully inclusive. It will be led by Fr Leonard Macionczyk SDS and Anne Cullendar. Rites of Christian Initiation of Adults: Any adults who would like to be prepared for baptism or become Catholics please contact Fr Stan. Prison Chaplain/Pastoral Worker. Catholic Prison Ministry is inviting applications for a Chaplain/Pastoral Worker to work 1-2 day per week. The successful applicant will provide spiritual and emotional support to prisoners and staff in prison, as well as leading regular Sunday worship services.
