NEW:
Calling all Seniors! Be sure to stop by the All Knight Party (AKP) registration
table in the cafeteria during lunch THIS Friday (Oct. 31) and pick up a treat
when you hand in your completed registration form, along with the $50 registration
fee, for the 2015 Sr All-Knight Party. Registration fees should be in the form of cash
or a check made out to "All Knight Party 2015". Visit the AKP website at
http://2015allknightparty.weebly.com/ to download the registration form to fill out
and have ready to go on Friday. Registering early will save you money on your
registration fee if you register by January 5th, so now's the time to register for this fun
event which follows your graduation ceremony!
Attention 11th grade National Honor Society Members! Get involved right away!
Anyone interested in becoming a co-chair for the Blood Drive should turn in their
co-chair application to Ms. Speltz in room 215 by 2:30 p.m. THIS Friday!!!
All boys interested in playing hockey this winter should attend an informational
meeting on Monday, November 3rd @ 5:15 p.m. in the Super Rink conference room.
REMINDER:
Attention all gymnasts! Please plan to attend an informational meeting TODAY
@ 2:45 p.m. in the gymnastics room to discuss the upcoming season.
Attention Seniors – TODAY is College Application Day at Irondale. Sign up in
Naviance so you can complete college applications in the computer lab today.
Remember, all MnSCU application fees are waived this week.
Attention All Boys interested in the Irondale Boys Swim & Dive Team! Plan to
attend an informational meeting in Irondale Pool Balcony THIS Thursday @ 2:15
p.m. If you are unable to attend, see Mr. J. Olson. The season starts December 1st.
POP TABS! Be sure to put your pop tabs in buckets which are located on top of
the recycling cans. These pop tabs will go to fund the purchase of wheelchairs for the
Shriner's Children Hospital. The Volunteer Club is collecting pop tabs during all
lunches now through Oct. 31st.
FYI – Junior Class Ring Packets are now available in the Attendance Office.
Anything Goes Silent Auction! During each performance, we have a silent auction
(different items each show). If you would like to donate items to the silent auction,
we would greatly appreciate it -- themed baskets, theatre tickets, gift certificates,
jewelry, etc. Please contact Dana Maier at dcmaier@live.com or 763-360-6477.
Another way to support Irondale drama is to come to the performances and bid on
some great silent auction items!!!
Irondale Drama Presents Anything Goes! Anything Goes is a Cole Porter musical
classic which takes place aboard the S.S. American. This light-hearted, high-energy
musical is a tale of love, laughter and mistaken identity. You won't want to miss it!
Performances dates: Oct, 30 & 31 @ 7:00 p.m., Nov. 1 @ 3:00 & 7:00 p.m., and
Nov. 2 @ 1:00 p.m. Tickets are $8 online irondalehs.seatyourself.biz or $10 at the

Reminder - HealthPartners and NovaCare have partnered with Irondale H.S. to
provide free Impact Baseline Testing THIS Thursday, October 30th @ 3:00-4:00
p.m. & 4:00-5:00 p.m. at Irondale in room 114. To schedule Impact Baseline
Testing: Parents should contact Andrea McKay with a preferred appointment time
at andrea.mckay@moundsviewschools.org in the subject line state “IHS Impact
Test”. This Impact Testing is being provided at no charge to Irondale H.S. athletes
by Dr. Cooper, Irondale team physician and HealthPartners. Impact testing will be
administered by Andrea McKay, MS, ATC through NovaCare Rehabilitation. The
test takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete; please arrive a few minutes
early to sign in.
