EndoWorld® SERVICE 2-1 12/2011-E MicroStop® Sterile containers and accessories MicroStop® ste Bridging the gap between the OR, for safe OR and CSS erile containers , disposal, sterilization and storage SD routine operations MicroStop – An intelligent solution both in form and function ® Today clinics face a dual challenge: On the one hand, the utmost safety in terms of cleanliness and sterility must be ensured in the OR and, on the other hand, increasing cost pressures in all areas demand the most cost-efficient solutions possible. MicroStop® sterile containers help you to tackle this challenge: They offer maximum safety and, at the same time, thanks to their innovative technology, also help to cut costs. The sterile system without exchangeable filters boasts no follow-up costs and, as such, is an effective and low-cost alternative to soft packaging and containers with disposable filters. From the closing mechanism with an optional seal, the innovative germ barrier system with the “green check pin” to the integrated sterilization indicator with red/green display, the MicroStop® sterile container system offers everything for making OR and CSSD routine work simpler and safer. 4 5 Germ-safe MicroStop® disk Lid with “green check” Protection against external factors Perfection and safety down to the very last detail The germ barrier The sterile container’s germ barrier comprises the MicroStop® disk and the subsystem on the inside of the lid. How it works: Thanks to the special geometry, the airflow and micro-organisms are separated. The germs are unable to migrate past the barrier. Separation efficiency of 99.99997% has been demonstrated in tests. This system makes disposable filters a thing of the past! The overall concept Sterile containers with the MicroStop® system offer more than just an outstanding germ barrier; the entire concept which successfully sets new standards has been carefully developed and optimized for quick use in the OR and sterile areas. Logical engineering down to the very last detail • • • • • • Coding labels with various colored flags Clips for protocol labels of various sizes Opening button with the option of using a seal Ergonomic handles Stacking feature on the lid Suitable for all standard sterilization trays The advantages are obvious • Easy visual inspection of the microbiological barrier • Clear process controls with sterilization indicator • No risk of perforation with sharp instruments (in contrast to soft packaging and disposable filters) • No follow-up costs from consumables • Fewer disposable products, less waste, reduced costs for disposal • There is no risk of accidental opening with the red/ green sterilization indicator 6 7 Practical and economic thanks to the optimal selection of materials The MicroStop® disk and the container lid are made of heatresistant and steam-sterilizable high-performance plastic – scratchproof, extremely impact-resistant, highly chemical-resistant and dimensionally stable. The container basins are produced from high-quality aluminum with a particularly hard anodized surface. The physical properties of aluminum mean that the containers have a high heat storage capacity and good thermal conductivity. As such, excellent drying times are guaranteed. Tested and certified safety The MicroStop® sterile barrier system offers an outstanding separation efficiency of 99.99997%. This impressive value has been repeatedly confirmed in numerous independent studies. The lid design features lateral flow paths and thus provides first-class protection from external influences. It goes without saying that all parts of the MicroStop® system comply with the requirements of the relevant national and international standards. Further advantages of this innovative storage system are its simple handling and unmistakable logistics based on the variable colored coding label system. High-quality materials and numerous intelligent workmanship details round the system off.
