* Call to Worship:
Blessed is the Lord’s name, for the gift of life flows from God our
Creator.
It is God who gives us life; and God alone receives us at life’s end.
Blessed is the Lord’s name, for grace that enlightens our path, and
for the divine presence that guides us on our pilgrimage of faith.
All praise and thanks to God, this day and forevermore.
* Hymn of Praise #117 O God, Our Help in Ages Past

Unison Prayer:
Great God, we give you thanks that you are so constant in your
care for us. Still in us now the many voices that clamor for our
attention, that we might center ourselves upon you . Speak to us
in word, song, and silence that we may be renewed in our faith
and strengthened for your service. This we ask in Christ’s name.
