Entries will only be accepted from teachers currently registered with An Coimisiún Le Rince
Gaelacha.
Objections must be lodged in writing within one hour of the announcement of a competition
and be accompanied by a fee of €20 which will be refunded should the objection be valid.
Videoing of the competitions is strictly forbidden.
The Adjudicator’s decision is final.
The feis committee and The Westwood House Hotel will not accept responsibility for personal
injuries or articles lost at the feis.
There is absolutely no smoking permitted in the Westwood House Hotel.
The feis committee as far as is practical will provide a surface suitable for dancing. However,
the committee cannot accept liability whatsoever for injuries sustained while on stage or
elsewhere in the Westwood House Hotel. The lodgement of an entry will be deemed to be
acceptance of the provision by a dancer and by his/her parent(s)/guardian(s).
Rince Inniu will be the official photographers at the feis. Photographs will be taken throughout
the day of the whole running of the feis. If you do not want your photo on social media please
inform the feis committee.
There are no parking fees.
Age of competitors to be taken from 1st January 2014.

Meangrad competitions are confined to competitors who have never previously won 1st place in
Mean or Ard Grad in any other registered competitions for the dance specified for that
competition or in any solo competition designated a ‘championship’ or ‘priomh comortas’
under the maximum age limit specified for the Mean grad or under a higher age limit.
Preliminary Championship is confined to the competitors who have not been placed in the top
five in Ard Grad Championship judged by three or more adjudicators. The winner of the
Preliminary Championship automatically eliminates the dancer from dancing in the grades
lower than Prelim. The dancer must not have qualified for the World Championships 2013 or
2014 (with the exemption of boys who are eligible if they qualified but did not place in the top
three at their Oireachtas and otherwise fulfil the requirements of Prelim) and a dancer must
not have recalled in the All Ireland or World Championships in 2013 or 2014. The dancer
must not have won a Preliminary Championship three or more times.
