1. Pay Scale : Associate Professor, pay Band Rs. 37,400-67,000 AGP Rs. 9000/IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
1. The Scheduled Castes/Other Backward Classes candidates shall be eligible for age relaxation as per rules /orders of the
Government of Uttar Pradesh. Physically handicapped (Locomot or Cerebral Palsy) candidate shall be entitled for 15 Years
relaxation in age.
2. The post(s) carry allowances and other benefits admissible to teachers of Institute of Engineering and Technology, a
Constituent College of Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow from time to time as per rules applicable for the Institute.
3. Applications should be submitted on prescribed format available on Institute website: www.ietlucknow.edu along with
attested photocopies of all testimonials. The complete application shall be sent in the office of the Registrar, Institute of
Engineering and Technology, Sitapur Road, Lucknow-226021 by Registered/ Speed post only. All the applications should be
super scribed in bold and capital letters on top of the envelopes by the name of post applied for.
4. The application should also accompany demand draft of Rs. 250/- for SC/ST and Rs. 500/- for other candidates in favour of
Director, IET, Lucknow. Physically handicapped Locomotors or Cerebral Palsy) are exempted from all fees.
5. Reservation is applicable as per the order of the UP Government.
6. No Claim by any applicant shall be admissible arising out of change in number and name of post (s) advertised. The Institute
reserves its right to increase, decrease, withdraw, or change the name/nature of vacancies advertised as per requirements of
the Institute.
7. Qualification and Experience prescribed above are the minimum and mere possession of the same may not entitle any
candidate to be called for Interview. There shall be board for screening the applications received against the Advertisement.
8. The applicant(s) employed in Government/ Semi Government/ Autonomous Organization must send their applications
through proper Chanel. However, an advance Copy may be sent so as to reach before by the closing date and the application
duly forwarded by the employer may follow.
9. A separate application should be submitted for each post.
10. Physically handicapped applicants are required to submit physically handicapped certificate issued by the Medical Board
Constituted by UP Government, along with their application.

receiving complete application(s) is 11/09/2014 up to 5.00 pm. incomplete application(s) received after the stipulated
date and time will not be considered.
