Boren Awards for International Study
Supports scholarly research projects in all areas of
the humanities. Priority, however, will be given to
proposals that concentrate on the centers collections
(major emphasis is on the study of literature and
culture of the U.S., Great Britain and France) and

Approximately 70 fellowships will be awarded.
Fellowships range from one to four months, with

participate in the National Digital Newspaper
Program which will create a national, digital
resource of historically significant newspapers from

One organization per state will be selected to
collaborate with other organizations in the state.
