Bahrainis led 21-9 at the end of the first-half and kept their momentum in the second to seal an emphatic victory. Bahrain, who recorded a well-earned victory against Kuwait in Group ‘B’ opener on Saturday, now lead the group with two wins from two matches. Pakistan, India and Bangladesh are the other teams in this group. Bilal Askani top scored for Bahrain with a game high seven goals. He was well assisted by Mahmood Mahdi (5 goals), Jaffar Mohammed (3 goals), Mohammed Ahmed (2), Abdulla Salman, Hussain Al Qaidoom, Fahad Mohammed and Sayed Shehab Ahmed (1 each). Traithlon Bahrain play India today at 6am (Bahrain time) in their third group stage match.
