Thank you. Here are your announcements for the day. EPJ High School Announcements 1. The National Honor Society is holding the Soles4Souls shoe drive until Nov. 22. The homeroom collecting the most pairs of shoes will be treated to breakfast pizza! 2. EPJ Momentum Show Choir will be presenting their Fall Show tomorrow, November 15 at 7:00 PM. Tickets will be available at the door. Good luck to them as they showcase their hard work! 3. The annual Thanksgiving food drive will run through November 21st. Please bring in as many nonperishable food items as you can to the designated box in your homeroom. Cash is also accepted and every dollar you bring is worth one pound of food. 4. There will be a football awards and dessert pot luck Sunday night (11/16) at 7pm in the HS lunchroom. Players please bring a desert to share – coaches will be bringing ice cream. 5. Just a reminder wrestlers: Practice starts Monday, November 17th 6. Second quarter midterm is Thursday, November 20th 7. GBB players there will be open gym 3:30 to 5:00pm today in HS gym. 8. Juniors and Seniors – dual credit registration forms are due on Monday November 17th by 3:07. 9. The Oral Interp Region Competition will be held Tuesday, November 18th in Vermillion (all day). All those participating in the contest need to contact your teachers and get any work you will miss on that day. Please meet in the commons Tuesday morning at 7:30. The vans will be leaving at 7:45. 10. Students planning on attending state football or state volleyball must have a parent/guardian notify the office prior to your absence. All work must be done or arrangements made with your teachers prior to your absence or you will risk late work deductions or no credit for any work, tests, quizzes, etc. Your absence will also count into the seven day attendance policy. Should you go over the seven day policy, you will be required to provide a doctor’s medical note for any further absences or risk losing credit for one or all of your affected courses. Be advised. 11. November 26th Early Out at 1:45; No School November 27th & 28th for Thanksgiving Elk Point Jefferson is conducting a census of 3, 4, and 5 year olds. Anyone who has a child that will be 3, 4, or 5 years old by September 1, 2015 please call or email (norma.ferdig@k12.sd.us) Norma at 356 5800. EPJ Middle School Announcements 1.
