Good morning. Would you please rise and join us in the Pledge of Allegiance: I pledge
allegiance, to the flag, of the United States of America, and to the Republic, for which it
stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Thank you. Today we
have a special announcement from the
EPJ High School Announcements
1. All prom fees need to be paid by today to Mrs. Norris- $10 for a non-EPJ or underclassmen date.
2. There will be a junior class meeting on Friday 4/17 in Mrs. Norris' room immediately after
announcements. Attendance is mandatory.
3. We would like to continue the tradition of showing the residents at the assisted living facility in Elk
Point (Wel-Cove) your prom dresses and tuxedos. Please plan on meeting at Wel-Cove at 4:00
pm Saturday afternoon before Prom. It will only take about 15 minutes. This is a great way to
bring joy to those at the Wel-Cove. They love to see young kids and it would mean a lot to them.
ALL are welcome….with or without your dates.
4. Reminder to anyone interested in running for a student council class representative position – you
must sign up by the end of the day Friday, April 17th in the office.
5. Volleyball Satellite Camp will be June 9th-10th for any HS student interested in playing VB. Cost is
$60 Please RSVP by April 24th with your payment to Mrs. Irlbeck or the HS office. Checks can be
made out to EPJ Volleyball.
6. The Boys Basketball end of season Dessert Social and awards will be this Sunday, April 19th at
6pm.
7. Current Dual Credit students you need to send mid term grades to Mrs. McMeekin by the end of
homeroom this morning.
8. Auditions for the 2015-2016 Momentum Show Choir will be May 5th. For more information, talk to
Mrs. Schmeling, join the 2015 Show Choir Auditions MyBigCampus group or talk to a current show
choir member! There are also flyers in the hallways. (see attachment)
9. Please email your fun & creative “Promposals” to Ms. Jones Stephanie.K.Jones@k12.sd.us
10. The 7th annual Books for Budding Brains Book Drive is being held this month. Please send any
gently used books to the HS office.
11. Once Upon A High School will be presented on the stage April 17th and 18th at 7:30pm. Tickets
are $5 for adults, $3 for students. There is no dinner theater with this production. Activity Tickets
do work at this event.

 Prom is Saturday, April 25th
 Senior Awards Night is Monday, April 27th @7pm
 Last day of school for Seniors is May 14th / Jr. K & K students last day is May 12th / Last day for 1st-11th
Grade - Friday, May 15th (due to the snow day) Dismissal at 12:45pm
 The Annual Booster Club Salt Drive will be held in August of 2015
EPJ Middle School Announcements
1. Attention next year’s 9th grade girls Volley Ball players: Volleyball Satellite Camp will be June 9th10th. Cost is $60 Please RSVP by April 24th with your payment to Mrs. Irlbeck or the HS office.
Checks can be made out to EPJ Volleyball.
2. Reminder to current 8th grade students interested in running for a student council class
representative position – you must sign up by the end of the day Friday, April 17th in the office.
3. We will have an eighth grade power point committee meeting on Friday, April 17th at 7:50 A.M. in
Mrs. Langle’s room. Make sure you complete your slides and get them in the final power point
before then.
4. Friday, April 17th will be homeroom t-shirt day. Wear your shirt and earn a chance!
5. Nursing Home Bingo is today. Meet in the office at 1:45 to sign out and walk together to the
Nursing Home: Meghan Brewer, Kelsie Olson, Matthew Giorgio, Sean Coyle, and Sophi Johnson.
