SPORTS -Coach’s Spotlight --
Joey Carroll -- member of the
Varsity Cross Country Team
Joey Carroll was our #1 runner for almost every race this season.
The highlight of his season was winning a tough race in Ukiah,
by out-kicking their top runner in the last 50 meters. Joey finished
23rd in NBL, just missing all-league honors. He will continue his
commitment to being a top runner by contributing his efforts to the
Jaguar Track Team in the Spring.
- Pete Stefanisko, Cross Country Coach

Remember to apply to a variety of schools. Use the "Reach - Target - Safety" plan
to increase your chances of receiving an acceptance.
REACH
Your top choices, the most
academically challenging
schools on your list. You
should include a couple of long
shots, you might be pleasantly
surprised.
TARGET
Schools where you would be
very happy and are likely
to be admitted.
These are your realistic
choices.
SAFETY
Schools where you are almost
certain to be admitted and
where you think you would be
happy and get a good
education. A safety school
should also be affordable if you
need to pay out of pocket or
you are guaranteed to receive
grants and/or loans.

Don’t miss out on the many opportunities available to you! All scholarships are listed under

CLUB NEWS:
Now is the time to join or form a club on campus!
Paperwork and information can be found in room B-124.
Guitar club will be meeting Tuesdays at lunch in Mrs. Pustorino's
room D-107. Come on by if you enjoy playing, want to practice for
guitar class or just want to learn the basics. All levels welcome.
Acoustic only. We have guitars available or you can bring your own.
Tardies Count Against You!
Student with multiple tardies will serve 3 lunch detentions.
Seniors with ongoing tardies risk losing their Good-Status.
Parking Lot Reminder...
The north and south parking lots are off-limits
to all students unless you are coming to school
or leaving at the end of your last class.
Take your belongings with you in the morning for all
your classes since you cannot return to your car during
the school day.
WHS is a closed campus -- students may not leave campus or go to the parking lots
during the school day, including lunch or break. Students who have a gap in their schedule in the
middle of the day MUST see their counselor to determine the best options for filling that mid-day
block. Students caught leaving the campus will serve two consecutive lunch-time detentions.
Students should not be visiting any other Windsor School campus while in route home.
