hosted CBS’s LATE SHOW for 22 years, announced his
retirement on the April 3 broadcast.
Letterman, who is widely credited with redefining the talk
show genre, debuted on the late night scene Feb. 1,
1982 with the premiere of his groundbreaking “Late Night

On Dec. 9, Showtime Networks announced the launch of
SHOWTIME ANYTIME on Microsoft’s Xbox One game
console. With its Xbox One app, SHOWTIME is

On April 10, CBS announced that Stephen Colbert, the
host, writer and Executive Producer of the Emmy and

year in a row for best series/film nominations across broadcast television (CBS’s THE GOOD WIFE and The CW’s
JANE THE VIRGIN), cable television (SHOWTIME’s THE
AFFAIR) and film (CBS FILM’s PRIDE). Of the 16 nominations, five were attributed to CBS Television Studios,
which produces the THE GOOD WIFE and JANE THE VIRGIN. Among the highlights, SHOWTIME was honored with

CBS Television Distribution has announced that
the new syndicated court program, HOT BENCH,
created by Judge Judy Sheindlin, has been renewed
for a second season. HOT BENCH has also been
upgraded in five of the top 10 markets for the remainderof the season and will be moved to CBS-owned stationsin seven markets on Monday, March 30, 2015,
through the 2015 - 2016 season. HOT BENCH will
move to the following CBS-owned stations: WCBS New
York at 9:00 AM; KCBS Los Angeles at 2:00 PM;
Wilson and Dominic West. An additional six SHOWTIME
actors were nominated (the most series actor nominations
of any cable or broadcast network), including HOMELAND's

served as Senior Vice President and Deputy General
Counsel for CBS since 1996 and chief legal officer for the
CBS Television Stations group since the division was
formed in 2000, will continue with the CBS Law
Department as a consultant until April 2015. In addition to
leading the TV stations' legal team, Messinger also
served as CBS Corporation's first Chief Compliance
Officer for four years after the company's separation from
Viacom in December 2005. Following Messinger's retirement, Andrew Siegel will assume leadership of the CBS
Television Stations' legal team as Senior Vice President
and Associate General Counsel. Siegel joined CBS in
RADIO
1988, having previously worked at the law firms Shea &
Gould and Fly, Shuebruk, Ganguine, Boros & Braun.

15 that it has signed Carson Daly to
