Well Child Screenings
Three Lakes Co-op and the Marais des
Cygnes School District are offering a free early
childhood developmental screening on January
23, 2015, at the Quenemo Attendance Center.
MdCV home game Admittance Policy
Free student admission!!! MdCV students will
be admitted free to all home games/matches.
Students K-5 must be accompanied by a
parent/guardian to be admitted free. HS/JH
students will be required to watch the games.
Those not watching the games or causing
disruptions will be asked to leave and not
return. Students must have attended school
that day and be in “good standing” to attend
the game. This policy does not apply for away
games or KSHSAA sponsored events
(regional, sub-state, etc.).
Inclement Weather Dismissal
Whenever school is cancelled for a day or
more due to inclement weather, we always
notify the following stations: WIBW-TV, KSNTTV, KOFO-1220 AM Radio, KVOE-1400 AM
Radio, AM Radio 580, and FM Radio 94.5.
These same stations are also notified if school
is dismissed early. We would appreciate a call
from parents if there is somewhere (other than
home) you wish your child to be sent if school
is dismissed early. Also, School OutReach will
call and notify parents about school closings. If
your phone number has changed, please notify
the high school office at (785) 549-3313.
MdCV FFA and Alumni Fundraiser
Agriculture Mechanics students have made two
benches: one in FFA colors of blue and corn
gold, and the other in Trojan school colors of
orange and blue. Each features the tailgate of
a Ford or Chevrolet truck.
Opportunities to win one of these benches may
be obtained by purchasing a $10 raffle ticket at
any home junior high or high school basketball
game, or by contacting Danny Rice, the MdCV
FFA advisor.
Proceeds will go to the MdCV Alumni and
MdCV FFA Scholarship fund. Winners will be
announced at the annual MdCV FFA banquet,
scheduled for April 15, 2015.
MdCV Booster Club News
The MdCV Booster Club is looking for
volunteers to help with gate duty, raffles and
after-prom activities. If you can help, please
contact Karla Saffle or Beth Weimer.
