The RG-501h is the one-box solution for any hospitality venue. This gateway can be integrated easily into your facility’s
network infrastructure. The RG-501h has been field-tested in multiple hospitality venues and supports 200 concurrent users
standard. User support can be expanded to unlimited concurrent users for larger installations.
The RG-501h is capable of limiting users to pre-defined bandwidth levels, improving the experience for all users by
preventing any single user from consuming the entire connection bandwidth. The gateway can also limit or restrict peer-topeer Internet traffic altogether.
The RG-501h can be programmed to manage two redundant Internet connections to limit the likelihood of connection loss.
The gateway can also be programmed for load balancing between two connections to prevent slow connection speeds.
AP controller functionality, recently added, supports Radius Gateway APs and provides a great benefit for organizations with
limited IT staff. From auto-discovery to auto-configuration, this AP controller has everything you need to set up and
configure a robust, secure WLAN remotely, in a short time and with minimal onsite assistance.
The RG-501h offers another unique feature. With Internet Bursting, guests can automatically exceed their maximum
bandwidth allowance for a brief time so that content such as video loads more quickly and runs more smoothly. Not only
will this improve the online experience of your guests, but it will also help you to achieve a better return on your investment
by using available bandwidth more efficiently.
