Mission Statement
聚會時間
ARAFMI stands for the Association of Relatives And
Friends of the Mentally Ill.
This is an opportunity for Mandarin speaking people
from the Ryde area to get together and discuss the
issues and needs facing Chinese carers with relatives
and friends suffering mental illness.
People from overseas living in Australia can find it
difficult to locate and access support for their health
and wellbeing.
This is particularly the case if they are caring for
someone who may have had experience of mental
illness, or stress, anxiety or simply difficulty in fitting
in and making connections in their new home.
