Shoebox Appeal – Thank you for your magnificent donations of so many lovely food parcels, and the very generous gift of £294, it was certainly all very welcome to help in the task our friends in Romania have of trying to feed the hungry for Christmas. We were able to pack the Christmas lorry on November 14th full of food, food parcels, medical supplies and equipment and warm blankets and we have had grateful emails back from everyone, that everything arrived safely, and they are all very happy with everything we sent, thanks to This week’s Birthdays people like you. The food parcels will be delivered to many destitute old people who don’t get any pension, over the next weeks, and I don’t think you can imagine how much they will be appreciated.
