It is such an honor to be present with a class of amazing young women, whom you have watched grow into their own spirituality. It is a privilege to hear them share the influences that have made huge impacts in their lives- family, friends, faith, school...it is humbling. A retreat can be a defining moment in one’s life experiences. I believe that this retreat is one of those opportunities. The girls allowed themselves to be present throughout the retreat, which allowed faith experiences and their relationship with Jesus and their classmates to deepen; these are irrevocable bonds from which they will draw strength in the future. Senior parents: thank you for allowing them to be Scholastica women. St. Scholastica family: thank you for keeping the girls, as well as the retreat team, in your prayers. Everyone appreciated your prayerful support. There are several “faith in action adventure” opportunities in this second school term and in the summer. This weekend our students leave for the Holocaust trip to Washington, DC. The trip is jam-packed with historical sights and experiences. Another group is leaving on Monday for the March for Life with the Important March Dates: Archdiocese of New Orleans.
