Implementation
This Project, distiguished for its quality and level of innovation in the
category of Rapid Delivery, was delivered by Stratesys and enabled
Fotowatio Renewable Vendures (FRV) to monitor in real-time and
manage the critical maintenance processes of their many
photovoltaic plants located around the world.
The Project was based on SAP Business Objects, a business
intelligence solution which Stratesys implemented to manage and
monitor FRV’s solar fields and other related assets. Alarm detection
and document management were also implemented to support
improved response times, business agility and the user experience.

Currently, this solution is
operational in three plants in Italy
and one in Australia. Because of
the solution’s flexibility to business
requirements and its technical
capability to scale, it is planned to
be further implemented in a total
of 20 additional locations around
the world over the next two years.
