SPEC’s printed sensors offer the performance of the best quality electrochemical sensors at a fraction of the price. SPEC’s printed sensors are also ultra-thin and tiny, offering easy integration into wireless, portable, and networked solutions. These sensors are ideal for health, environmental, industrial and residential monitoring, because of their high performance, low cost and small size. Measurement Range 0 to 20 ppm Repeatability < 3% of reading Response Time < 30 s (15 seconds typical) Sensitivity -30 +/- 5 nA/ppm Maximum Overload (1 hour per EN20291-1) 50 ppm Expected Operating Life > 5 years (10 years @ 23+/-3C; 40+/-10% RH) Operating Temperature Range -40 to 50 C (-20 to 40 C recommended) Operating Humidity Range – non-condensing 0 to 100% RH (15 to 95% recommended) 3SP_O3_20 January2015 TEMPERATURE EFFECT Temperature fluctuations have a predictable, easily compensated effect on the sensor signal. The figures at below shows the typical Temperature dependency of 3SP_CO_1000 sensors under constant humidity of 40-50 % RH. This is a very uniform and repeatable effect, easily compensated for electronically with the appropriate thermistor, or in firmware. NOTE: Ozone Sensors will have different but easily compensated variances.

North America Temperature Sensor Market
Temperature detection and measurement is a very important activity and has a variety of applications ranging from simple household to industrial. A temperature sensor is a device that collects the concerning temperature data and displays in a human-understandable format. Temperature sensing is the most controlled and measurable factor behind any critical application. The temperature sensing market shows continuous growth due to its need in research & development, semiconductor and chemical industries. Temperature sensing is gaining a lot of attention due to increasing adoption of HVAC (heating, ventilating, and air conditioning) for domestic as well as industrial use.

Chemical sensor is a device that converts chemical information into electric signals, whose magnitude is related to the concentration of the analyte. The information is deduced from chemical reaction of the analyte or from the physical properties of the system under consideration. It consists of a receptor and transducer, that operate in real time and are controlled by kinetic and thermodynamics of a chemical reaction. The increase in global energy usage and undesirable release of pollutants into environment has led to increasing use of chemical sensors which is driving the chemical sensors market. These sensors are extensively utilized for environmental conservation activities, thus ensuring better environmental conditions. Chemical sensors are considered as advanced tools which are used for identifying and quantifying analytes for various chemical industrial processes. These are extensively used in research laboratories, chemical and process industries, defence sector and other critical applications.
