Something to look forward to in the New Year is the implementation of Parent Portal where you will have immediate access to student grades online. Please make sure you have submitted a preferred email address to the office. Ask your child about the information packet that has been handed out. TCAP WRITING ASSESSMENT SJH students have been preparing for the annual writing assessment during Language Arts classes. Testing will take place for 8th graders the week of Feb. 2-6 and for 7th graders the following week as part of the Tennessee Comprehensive Testing Program or TCAP. The test will be online and take place during students’ Language Arts block. Please make sure your child is well rested and is at school ON TIME that day. oughnuts with Dad D 2014-2015 SJHS Homecoming Court SJHS will be celebrating with all our Dads on Friday, January 23rd. All dads are invited to join us at 7:30 in the SJHS library for doughnuts, orange juice and coffee. It’s a way for us to say thanks and show our appreciation for all that you do.
