Gain a deeper understanding of cognitive processes impacting a
child’s WISC–V performance
Designed to help you develop appropriate interventions or treatments, the
WISC–V Integrated combines the WISC–V with optional, process-oriented
subtests to investigate a child’s WISC–V performance.
Use the WISC–V to obtain the five primary index scores. Then, use only the subtests you
need from the WISC–V Integrated to gain further information on specific domains to go
deeper and understand a child’s WISC–V performance, cognitive strengths and weaknesses,
and problem solving strategies.
•Offers a range of subtests—choose only those that help you answer your referral question
and understand WISC–V results
•Provides adapted versions of the WISC–V subtests to help you assess children with special
needs
•Allows you to refine hypotheses regarding why a child may have difficulty in a specific
cognitive area

Use the WISC–V Integrated to help:
•Understand a child’s WISC–V performance when
significant and unusual discrepancies are observed
across subtest or index scores.
•Understand changes in a child’s profile of cognitive
strengths and weaknesses over time (e.g.,
differences in subtest or index scores relative to a
previous evaluation).
•Identify cognitive processing strengths and
weaknesses in students with specific learning
disabilities in order to facilitate diagnostic
formation and intervention planning.
•Assess for cognitive processing difficulties
in children with psychiatric issues or
neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., ADHD) and
recommend appropriate interventions.
•Investigate the impact of brain injuries and
