THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW—YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS INFORMATION AND WE WILL HAVE A LOCAL SECURITY TEAM AUDITING OUR PLAN: Teachers will : Escort classroom students to assigned evacuation area away from windows and doors (if on the second floor move students to the strong wall or if possible in the middle offices) Take Attendance Notify Security Team member of any missing students- via phone or face to face Monitor student activity and listen for announcements- such as (move to a safe zone or assume protective position) Listen for all clear before going back to normal activity Note: The only areas that have an evacuation plan are: Portables behind Bldg. 8 will come into Bldg. 8 Halls. Portables at EDC will come into Bldg. 3 halls… Portable behind Bldg. 4 will come into the Bldg. 4 halls If you are in the Theatre, you need to go into the halls in Bldg. 10/Media Center folks need to seek a safe room away from the open area Students and staff using the basketball court in Bldg. 8 will need to move to the halls in Bldg. 8….
