The Lecture and Response Class continues today with a six-part video discussion series entitled Surprised by Hope: Rethinking Heaven, the Resurrection, and the Mission of the Church. The series features video presentations by the renowned scholar and pastor N. T. Wright. WHO ARE WE? Our Wednesday Night Live study series continues this Wednesday, February 11. Mark leads us through an exploration of the creeds and confessions of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). This series will delve into some of the basic questions of faith: Who are we? What do we believe as a church? How do my personal beliefs intersect–and not intersect–with the faith of the church? Join us for dinner at 5:30 and the conversation at 6:30. Non-perishable food items are always welcome, as well as personal care items such as shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, disposable razors and women’s hygiene products. Local Missions Ministry will deliver the food and hygiene items. Monetary donations are always appreciated. Clothing, linens, etc., may be taken directly to I.A.M. (The Clothing Closet needs warm clothing including sweat shirts, sweat pants, socks, and shoes and boots in all sizes, including children’s sizes. At this time we are very short on blankets and there is a great need for them.)
