Season of Prayer, Jan-Feb 2015
Our final Prayer Night in the season of prayer is on Tuesday 10th February. We very much look
forward to seeing you there. These have been great times gathering together to pray and seek
God.
Roadworks – Upper Northam Road: These will be taking place between the Golf Centre and
junction 7 and will commence on 16th February 24/7 for 3 weeks.
Wheelchairs: We are missing two from KCC, if you have taken them home by mistake please
could you return them and let Frank Parker know frankandsallyparker@hotmail.com.

Parentalk, a Care for the Family event, KCC, 11th February, 7.30pm
Join Rob Parsons and Katherine Hill for an evening of encouragement as they share top tips,
helpful hints and important insights. For parents with children up to early teens. To book, visit

Movie Morning, Saturday 14th Feb, 10am-12noon
Open to all, come and watch ‘How to Train Your Dragon 2’, free entry with a tuck shop. Children
are to be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please invite your friends. For more information

Community Choir
Our new community choir Voicebox will be starting on Thursday 5th March, rehearsing weekly
9.30-10.45am in the youth room. Regardless of whether you have been singing for a long time, or
just want to try it out, Voicebox is open to all ages and all levels of experience. We will be
learning arrangements of songs in popular styles for events around the area. For more

Children and Teens’ use of the Internet, Sunday 8th March, 7.30pm
This is a topic on which the current issues are many and the Bible is understandably not specific
about. The event will enable parents and friends to become more informed about it. There will be
short presentations on a number of the most relevant aspects, followed by a longer Question &
Answer time when parents can engage with the speakers and other panellists. The event is open
to anyone aged 18 and above, within the church or beyond. It has been organised by the
Christian Information Group (CIG) in KCC. For more information please email

Women of Courage – ‘Releasing Potential’, Monday 16th March, 7.45pm
Our next ladies event is on Monday 16th March. All ladies welcome for an evening of worship,
stories & challenge with refreshments. It's going to be a great evening together!

Catalyst Kids Worker Day, Saturday 14th March, Hailsham
For all those interested and with a heart for kids work, a great time to share ideas, be equipped
and hear what God is doing with children in our churches. Tickets are £20 with a 50% discount for

KCC Bookshop
We have new stock in this Sunday with a special one-off event - please check your seats on
Sunday! We still have the book recommended by Chris Allison for a little while longer. Don’t forget
we can always take orders for books, CDs or DVDs if you can’t find what you’re looking for in the
bookshop.
Food Centre
We are having another busy time at the food centre and this week our needs are - tinned
potatoes, jam, marmalade, tinned ham, tinned rice pudding, tinned custard, jellies and whips.

Cherubtrain Ltd., a company which provides a range of services such as delivery of safeguarding
trainings, carrying out Clinical Audits and conducting Serious Case Reviews are looking for an
experienced Administration Assistant to assist with their ever-increasing administrative needs.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out duties such as: general office
administration, chronology preparation and carrying out audits.
It will be for 28 hours, 4 days a week, Monday- Thursday 09.00-17.00. The person must be driver
and have a current license.
