Stop Build Day is on Tuesday, February 17. That means we need to have our robot done, and bagged, by 11:59pm on this date. When it is bagged we cannot take it out until we arrive to our first competition. Our team is in crunch time in order for our robot to be done in time to compete. This year we have finally come to a conclusion as to what it will be named. Bruce, our robot was named after the shark in the movie Finding Nemo who says, “Fish are friends not food.” During the competition there will be several ramps that the robots have to be able to stack the totes on top of to earn points. Above is the playing field. The ramps are the white areas. This week our team is working on building a practice ramp so that we are able to perfect our strategies at getting the totes stacked on top of the ramp as quickly as possible. ~Joke of the Week~ Q: Why do sharks not like fast food? A: Because they can’t catch it. Thursday, February 12 from 6 to 7pm Robotics Room in the Community Services Building (old H.S.) This is an opportunity to see what the Robosharks have been doing this season.
