Dear Parents and Guardians,
It is with a great deal of pride in our students that we extend an invitation to our annual Young
Author’s Celebration, scheduled for the week of February 9, 2015. This week long
“celebration” will provide our students the opportunity to read their books and publications to
members of their families, school, district, senior citizen groups, and the larger community. We
would be honored to have you join us as part of this “special audience!”
The Young Author’s Celebration is our way of acknowledging the hard work and determination
that our 411 students have put forth in creating a piece of history, a book! Throughout the
week, we are planning a variety of activities to commemorate this special occasion by providing
the students with several forums to proudly share their stories with a variety of audiences.
While we acknowledge your busy schedules, it is our hope that you will be able to join your
child’s class during their scheduled time. Our students would treasure the opportunity to share
their books with you!
