This year for the Souper Bowl, we will be collecting different kinds of soups. Our goal is to collect 1,000 cans. You are all invited to join us for Lenten meals! After the 11:00 a.m. Lenten Service. Soup, sandwiches, and dessert will all be provided for your enjoyment. Please stop by for lunch and fellowship with friends old and new! From 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. join us for a Lenten Soup Potluck, bring what you can or bring nothing! Join us for a time fellowship each Wednesday! Have you ever wondered how to prepare for Lent? On Ash Wednesday we will look at the parable of The Pharisee and the Tax Collector as found in Luke 18:9-14. The tax collector who repents goes home justified, while the proud Pharisee does not. We, too, who repent are justified through Christ. See you in the Lounge at 12:30 p.m. on February 18! Has God given you the gift of Mercy? What about the gift of Exhortation? Come find out about Spiritual Gifts and how we can use God’s gifts at Grace. An all day Spiritual Gifts class will take place on Saturday, February 21, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Books are $10 or available to borrow at no cost. Lunch will be provided, please bring your own beverages and snacks. Please indicate your desire to attend on a sign-up sheet on the board by the coatroom. Attention all Families/Young Couples! you looking to meet up with and spend time with other young people in our church? so, then this is the group for you! events will be for the whole family, some will be social gatherings for the adults and some will be service oriented. first meeting will be for the whole family! us on Saturday, February 21 at 2:00 p.m. for some sledding fun at Fritse Park in Neenah. your own sleds and warm beverages and meet up with others from Grace! People who have completed the Spiritual Gifts class meet monthly to Light the Fire, keeping the enthusiasm for using our spiritual gifts burning. On Saturday, February 28, 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. the group will gather and review the gift of Mercy. We will also share how God is showing us ways to use the gifts He has given us. Easter Cantata: Believe! Jessica McGinnis has invited us to join her in singing the Easter cantata Believe. Practices will be held at Winneconne Christian Fellowship Church on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to noon on February 28, March 14. Dress rehearsal will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on March 28. The choir will present the cantata at four churches including Grace. The performance at Grace will be Sunday, April 12, at 2:00 p.m. For more information, call Jessica McGinnis at 836-2700. Performances will also take place Saturday, April 4, 6:00 p.m. at Winneconne Christian Fellowship, Wednesday, April 8, at 6:30 p.m.at New London Methodist, and Saturday, April 11, at 6:00 p.m. at St. Peters Church, Larsen. Ruth's Pantry on Monday February 9: Households served - 56; Family members served - 173; volunteer hours for the week - 123. Our shelves are almost empty of canned goods. The most needed items are: canned fruit, canned peas & corn, and tuna. We are very low on brown paper bags, please bring your extra bags to church for reuse. The Hungry Helpers are teaming up with Feed My Starving Children to sponsor a talent show on February 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Winchester Elementary School.
