storm.
This year for the Souper Bowl, we will be collecting different kinds of
soups. Our goal is to collect 1,000 cans.
You are all invited to join us for Lenten meals! After the 11:00 a.m. Lenten
Service. Soup, sandwiches, and dessert will all be provided for your
enjoyment. Please stop by for lunch and fellowship with friends old and new!
From 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. join us for a Lenten Soup Potluck, bring what you can
or bring nothing! Join us for a time fellowship each Wednesday!
Have you ever wondered how to prepare for Lent? Or, why we should
prepare for Lent? Or, how does the church prepare for Lent? For answers,
please come to a one session class on Sunday, February 15, during the
education hour. We learned some of the above during one of our January Lay
School classes, and thought it worth sharing. We hope to see you there! We
will meet in the dining room. class is being presented by Dave Hoks and Kate
Christianson.
