USNA Summer Programs Applications are now
open!
Greetings from Annapolis! With winter halfway through and spring on the
horizon, the Office of Admissions team at the United States Naval Academy is
actively gearing up to host high school students from across the nation at our
two marquis summer programs, Summer STEM Camp and Naval Academy
Summer Seminar.
Summer STEM Camp is designed to spark and cultivate interest in the many
academic disciplines which make up science, technology, engineering and
mathematics. A hands-on, design-based program, Naval Academy Summer
STEM will challenge students to think scientifically, problem-solve creatively,
and work cooperatively in teams. Open to rising 9th, 10th and 11th graders,
Summer STEM is led by USNA faculty and currently enrolled midshipmen and
is a great fit for students looking to broaden their understanding of STEM study
and careers.
The United States Naval Academy Summer Seminar is a fast-paced, six-day
experience for high achievers who have completed their junior year in high
school. Summer Seminar teaches students about life at the Naval Academy,
where academics, athletics, and professional training play equally important
roles in developing our nation's leaders. If you have students you feel would be
interested in pursuing an appointment to one of the nation's service academies
and serving the country as an officer, encourage them to consider attending
the Naval Academy's Summer Seminar.
We recognize your students have many options to fill their summer days and
wish to thank you for bringing the opportunities at the Naval Academy to their
attention. If you have questions about our programs or would like additional
information or literature to share with your students, please feel free to contact
the Office of Admissions at summerprograms@usna.edu, or (410) 293-1858.
