TABLET CLUB LENT LUNCHES 2015 12 noon – 2 pm (Unless stated otherwise) 21 February 28 February 7 March 14 March 21 March 28 March - - St.Ann's - Friends All Saints Methodists - URC Grove Lane PAINTING & CARPETING UPDATE By the time you read this on Sunday 15th February we should have a redecorated church and foyer and you will be able to get a first impression of the carpet. By next Sunday the church carpet should all be laid, so the worst is nearly over! Thanks to everyone for your patience with the upheaval. Work will continue for a while to lay the new flooring in the foyer (on 25th February, the day after CAMEO, unless it is possible to complete this also by next Sunday); and to decorate and re-carpet all the other rooms immediately adjoining the church. We now expect everything to be complete by mid-March. We ask for your continued help in: 1. Liaising with Gill Pennells in the church office about the availability of rooms between now and the end of March; 2. Avoiding walking through the church apart from on Sundays and for official activities – it is a dangerous place to be whilst all this work is going on, and; 3. Moving chairs onto the stage after Sunday evening service this week Thank you! If there are any problems you can’t resolve, please refer to either of the wardens, Moira Jackson or Peter Bailey, who will try to help. Come and pray 7-7.30pm Mondays Join us in the crèche room for a time of fellowship as we come before God together with praise, thanksgiving and requests for our church, parish, missionaries and the world. Singers wanted Do you enjoy singing? Have you ever sung in the choir at Christmas, or do you just join in from the congregation? We would love to have more singers willing to stand at the front and help lead the worship at St. Andrew's. On Sunday 22nd February we are having a sing-a-long in Church using iSing Worship and live music. You will be able to try singing with a microphone and join in with our regular singers, without any pressure. We will be meeting in church at 4pm. Do please think if this is something that you could do. If you would like to know more please ring Sarah Brown or just come along on the 22nd. Thanks.
