Za is from a small village in Burma. He arrived in Glenside about 4 1/2 years ago as a refugee sponsored by Lutheran Children and Family Services Refugee resettlement program. Za lived with several foster homes, and with a Burmese family here in Glenside. Za graduated from Cheltenhem High School, 2013 then moved to Johnstown, PA, for over one year to obtain a certificate in Warehouse Materials Management. Za's wish is to return to the Glenside area, where he can use public transportation, get around easily on bicycle, renew relationships, and find a job in his field. He would like to live with an English speaking family, so he can keep practicing his English! The Ken Crest LifeSharing program provides a stipend ($1700 per month) for inviting a person into their home. Several of the members of St. Paul's know Za Mang and think highly of him. Za already has a transitional job of assisting a contractor, in the area, while he looks for a job in his field. Please call member Julie Sandblade 267-278-2354, for more information, if you would like to have Za share his life with you.
