First Kids September 2016 - First Methodist Church of Union County

Hello Everyone!
It’s an exciting time in Children's Ministry at FUMC! School is back in
swing and we will soon be starting our Wednesday night program. I am
looking forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday, September 7, from 6-7
in the Fundamentals Room for our "Ice Cream Social". Parents, children,
volunteers, any "want-to-be" volunteers - please come! We need to
reconnect and see who all wants to be a part of this fun group!
We will have sign up for music, Wednesday bible study, Acolytes and
everything fun for our children! I am so excited that we have a new helper
in music, her name is Ms. Pam and she will be there with Ms. Linda. They
are bringing the Boom-whackers and bells for your children to try out.
They have even added some new Boom-whacker for this year and are so
excited to get started with your children! Music will be presented every
Sunday during the 9:45 Sunday School hour, so it is very important that
our children are there on Sundays to learn songs, bells and Boomwhacking! Ms. Linda and Ms. Pam will be sending a note with more information soon!
Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who help in Children's Ministry - we cannot do this without you! I appreciate your help and patience
while I am getting to know everyone. I know that any new job is hard, mine
is a new job in a church that is fairly new to me and that makes it even
harder. I am enjoying getting to know you all and your wonderful children.
Now, it is time to get geared up for some fun! I look forward to seeing
each and every one of you at the Ice Cream Social!
