Known Issues The following are known issues that are being addressed by PDC developers. If you find any issues not listed here or have any questions, send an email to disaster@pdc.org. User Interface Issue: Clock times in Atlas may appear incorrectly. Modifying Your User Profile Issue: The “Save Last H&P Search” option prevents users from saving changes on the User Profile palette. Workaround: When making any changes on the User Profile palette, make sure the “Save Last H&P Search” option is unchecked. Issue: The “Save Palette Position” option in Atlas is not working. The palette position will not hold after the browser is refreshed. Language Translation Issue: Language translation for button descriptions may not always appear in the selected language. Overview Map Issue: Bing Background Map Layers will disappear from the Overview Map when zoomed out too far. Workaround: Zoom closer into the map (so the Bing layer will reappear) or switch to a different background map layer. Layers Issue: Cluster view does not appear on the map until the user zooms in closer. Identify Tool Issue: Values of zero are being displayed as N/A. Issue: The “Export to CSV” tool is exporting incorrect data. Issue: Identify results may be missing some details. 2 Bookmarks Issue: Atlas bookmarks are not working correctly; users will see default layers and extent. Import Issue: KML feed and GeoSHAPE upload option are not always importing correctly. Export Issue: Due to restrictions, Bing Background Map Layers are not exportable, so they will not appear in exported JPEG or KML files. Workaround: Switch to a non-Bing background map layer before using the Export tool. Issue: JPEGs are not exporting correctly in Atlas. Social Feeds Issue: The Scan tool is not updating Tweets to display only those located within the scanned area. Workaround: To view Tweets only for a specific area, zoom your map to that location and extent. Issue: Users cannot navigate while the scan tool is active. Workaround: In order to navigate, deactivate the scan tool. Live Cameras Issue: Some Live Cameras in Hawai’i require Adobe Flash to view. Workaround: If you are not able to view those cameras, please update your Flash software to the latest version. Administrative Functions Creating Hazards and Products Issue: Imported PDF files with special characters (such as the # sign) in the file name cannot be displayed. Workaround: Do not include special characters when naming PDF files that will be imported into the H&P Palette. 3
