$4,000 Leadership Development Scholarships for Queensland’s Special Education teachers Bringing best practice leadership development to Australia’s Special Education teachers INFORMATION FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS THROUGHOUT QUEENSLAND Scholarships for Leadership Development Special Education teachers in QLD are hereby advised that $4,000 scholarships are available through NESLI to assist them to undertake the Australian Schools Special Education Colloquium. Each scholarship will reduce the course fee by $4,000 per applicant. Applicants will be required to pay a balance of just $1,980 to undertake the program. Development for Special Education Teachers The Australian Schools Special Education Colloquium offers a timely forum for Special Education teachers throughout Queensland to connect on a regular basis and share vital information. By offering a forum exclusively reserved for Special Education teachers the Colloquium creates a space to discuss current challenges and consider important issues surrounding the future of Special Education in Queensland. Australian Schools Special Education Colloquium Developed under the highly acclaimed National Excellence in School Leadership Initiative (NESLI), the Australian Schools Special Education Colloquium is informed and guided by unprecedented collaboration between education sector stakeholders and leading Australian universities. The Colloquium is rapidly becoming one of the countries most talked about development programs. Run in convenient bite-size modules over an extended ten month period the Colloquium is designed to align with teachers existing schedules and commitments. Utilising a state-of-the-art on-line learning management system and interactive web portal the program offers the opportunity to undertake comprehensive professional development without the additional consideration of costly backfill arrangements or time away from the classroom.
