Important Information for BCHPCA CONFERENCE|2015 Attendees
 CONFERENCE|2015 registration includes Breakfast on both days; the
Awards luncheon on Friday May 22nd and the BCHPCA’s Annual General
Meeting and lunch on Saturday May 23rd.

 Friday evening’s gala dinner, In the Spotlight is co-hosted by the BC
Bereavement Helpline; tickets can be purchased when you register for the
conference. For conference attendees, dinner tickets are $45 and for
guests $95 (with a $50 donation receipt).
 Dying to Talk, a special follow-up event on Sunday May 24th, from 2-4 PM is
co-hosted by the BC Centre for Palliative Care and features Dr. Allan
Kellehear and Ms. Renu Bakshi. Dying to Talk will take place at Unity of
Vancouver (5840 Oak Street). This is a free event, but pre-registration is

 Travel and parking:
o If you are traveling by air, please note that the Radisson Vancouver
Airport Hotel offers a free shuttle services from YVR’s main terminal.
o If you live locally, please consider taking the Canada Line SkyTrain, as
the hotel is located adjacent to the Aberdeen station.
o Complimentary parking for BCHPCA CONFERENCE|2015 attendees is
available in the following locations: parking lot in front of the hotel;
levels 2, 3 and 5 (Blue Zone only) in the President Plaza Parkade
 Do Not Park in the Red Zone on level 5; at the T&T
Supermarket or at the Yaohan Shopping Centre – vehicle will
be towed at owner’s expense.
