The Original Sound of Music Tour: Relive the true story of the
Von Trapp family which was filmed as the ‘Sound of Music’ in the
Salzburg area. The tour, which has been Salzburg’s most popular
tour since 1967 when it was offered for the first time, is a combination of sightseeing in this historical city itself and in the beautiful
lakes and mountains area known as the Salzkammergut, which is
also a famous musical and cultural centre. The highlights and film
locations of the ‘Sound of Music’, such as the beautiful gardens in
Hellbrunn (where Liesl and Rolf sang ‘I am 16 going on 17’), and
the wedding church in Mondsee are a treat for all fans of the film.

Day 1 - Vancouver Upon arrival at the Vancouver International Airport transfer independently, by city transit service,
limousine or taxi to downtown Vancouver (transfer not included). This evening, visit Vancouver’s newest attraction,
FlyOver Canada (included). Overnight in Vancouver
Day 2 - Vancouver to Sun Peaks (L) Depart the beautiful coastal city of Vancouver and travel east through the urban
centres of Surrey, Langley, and Abbotsford. Continue north towards Hell’s Gate and the spectacular Fraser Canyon.
Lunch and a tram ride at Hell’s Gate offers a chance to witness the power of water as it churns and pushes through
the narrow Hell’s Gate gorge. Pass through Spence’s Bridge, a small town established during the Cariboo Gold Rush
of the 1850’s. Wind along the Thompson River through the dramatic desert scenery of British Columbia’s cowboy
country. The road climbs steadily up from Kamloops through the Shuswap Highlands into the mountain region of
Sun Peaks. Overnight in Sun Peaks
Day 3 - Sun Peaks to Banff (L) Continue your journey from Sun Peaks. Witness the landscape change from wide
open skies to towering rugged peaks as you ascend into the Rocky Mountains. Pass through the mountain town
of Revelstoke before continuing through the untouched wilderness of Roger’s Pass. Stand on the shores of Lake
Louise surrounding by towering mountains, and take a quick stroll around the lake. Continue along the Bow Valley
Parkway through the heart of Banff National Park. Overnight in Banff
Day 4 - Banff to Columbia Icefield (Round Trip) (L) Today’s journey travels north along the famous Icefields Parkway,
one of the most spectacular highways in North America. Travel through Banff and Jasper National Parks with stops
at the Columbia Icefield & the newly opened Glacier Skywalk. Enjoy lunch (included) at the Columbia Icefield
Discovery Centre. After, board a Brewster Ice Explorer and travel onto the icy slopes of the Athabasca Glacier. The
ice is 365 metres (1,200 feet) thick - about the height of the Empire State Building. At the icefall below the glacial
headwall, take the option of stepping out onto the ice formed from snow that fell 400 years ago. Only a few minutes
from the Athabasca Glacier is the Glacier Skywalk, Jasper National Parks’ newest attraction (admission included).
The return to Banff is once more along the Icefields Parkway. Overnight in Banff
Day 5 - Banff to Calgary This morning’s excursion tours through the town of Banff and its environs. Ascend Tunnel
Mountain Drive to view Bow Falls and the hoodoos, followed by a visit to Lake Minnewanka and Two Jack Lake.
Then take a ride (included) on a gondola car to the top of Sulphur Mountain. Early this afternoon, depart Banff and
travel to Calgary. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off either at your downtown hotel or the Calgary Airport.

Old Lahaina Luau Incorrect itinerary
The Old Lahaina Lu’au takes great pride in presenting an authentic evening of traditional Hawaiian food, music
and dance. Guests will appreciate an evening that reflects with taste and tradition the rich culture and history of
the Hawaiian Islands. The unique setting for the luau was once the royal compound of the great kings of Hawaii.
Guests relax under stately palms with a three island sunset view and the sailboats of the Lahaina as a backdrop.
This very spot was once reserved for Hawaiian royalty and their guests.
As the sun sets, it is time to start the evening’s main entertainment. You will be able to see the muli-talented
ensemble which will take you on a magical journey from “Old Hawaii” to the present time. You will be able to
see the Hula as it was meant to be performed, with love and reverence. The program is informative as well as
entertaining. The entertainment will begin with Kahiko (ancient) hula accompanied by chanting and ancient
styled instruments. As each era in Hawaiian history is touched upon, the guests will experience the mood and
story of the times. Imaginative costumes, lively hula and beautiful songs combine to create an evening filled with
