Easter Celebrations
Thank you to Mrs Oliver and members of the Parish who joined us today to tell the Easter story. Each class
took a section - Palm Sunday, The Last Supper, The Trial and the Crucifixion and Burial. This was all
brought together in an assembly at the end of the morning. I would also like to thank Mrs Hicks for bringing ‘Chocolate Drop’ the donkey to school to help us with the story. Please look out on the VLP for photographs.
Our Easter Service will take place tomorrow on Friday 27th March at the church, starting at 2.30pm. The
children will need to be collected from church on that day, those attending ‘Stay and Play’ and Acro Gymnastics will be brought back to school.
Well done to all those who took part in the PTA Egg and Bonnet competition. Mrs Wines had the very difficult task of judging and she awarded prizes as follows:Bonnets

Science Competition
A reminder that entries for the science competition need to be in school on Tuesday 14th April. This has
not been set as a homework but is for those children who wish to take part.
Whole School Homework
This needs to be returned to school for Friday 17th April, we hope to have an entry from every family in
our Healthy Eating Cook Book. Please make sure that your recipe is low in fat, salt and sugar.
We start back for the summer term on Tuesday 14th April 2015. On behalf of the staff and Governors, I
wish you a happy and restful Easter break.
