gallon container of potting mix, 1 cup per 7-­‐gallon container of potting mix, For Ebb & Flow “Modified Hydroponics” Growing Systems, add ELIXIR, weekly at a 10% dilution rate, 5 gallons to each 50-­‐gallon reservoir of made-­‐up fertilizer nutrients. For SPROUTING SEEDS, ROOTING CLONES, TRANSPLANTING and for use as a FOLIAR FEED, APPLY full-­‐strength or at 2X DILUTION. Use water from lakes, ponds, rain barrels and snow-­‐melt, if available, or use tap water provided it is Carbon-­‐Block-­‐filtered to remove chloramines and chlorine. Start-­‐up DR J’s AMAZING PLANT ELIXIR by adding one tablespoon (15 grams) of dry food granules per 3 gallons of water and aerating for 24 to 48 hours. Aeration in the form of a fine air bubbles may be produced by using an aquarium air pump attached to a sintered stone diffuser by a length of clear plastic tubing (air pump, tubing check valve, and diffuser available (Aqua Culture TM) at Walmart for under $15 . You can continue to reproduce DR J’s AMAZING PLANT ELIXIR: by SAVING a 10-­‐20% PORTION (1-­‐2 GALLONS) of the “original” ELIXIR; adding three gallons of fresh water to make about 5-­‐GALLONS of INOCULANT; and feeding the volume with 1 Tbsp. of DR J’s AMAZING PLANT ELIXIR NUTRIENTS; and AERATING the volume for 24-­‐48 hours BEFORE USE; Some FOAMING is natural. MAINTAIN AERATION of the ELIXIR at all times and if not-­‐in-­‐use for more than 5 days, REACTIVATE by adding one Tbsp. of DR J’s AMAZING PLANT ELIXIR NUTRIENTS.
