GeoSolutions WaterSaver for Hydroseeding
GEOSOLUTIONS WATERSAVER is a superabsorbent anionic polyacrylamide polymer that, when
incorporated into a soil or substrate, absorbs and retains large quantities of water and nutrients. Unlike
most products that become hydrated, WATERSAVER has the property of releasing the absorbed water
and nutrients, thereby allowing the plant to have water and nutrients available at-will as a function of
the absorption/release cycles.
Hydroseeding Application Instructions:
*With 1,700 gallon (6,435 Liters) Mixing Tank
Treating 1.5 Acres (0.61 Hectares)
1. Add 1,060 gallons of water to the mixing tank
2. Add standard use rate of Starter Fertilizer (19-19-19) to mixing tank
3. Add hydroseeding mulch based on slope gradient condition
4. Add 16 gallons of Liquid Lime for pH stabilization
5. Add 1 gallon of hydroseeding colorant
6. Add seed per product specifications
7. Add 30-35 pounds of WATERSAVER, with particle sizes between 0.01 0.03 inches, very slowly to the tank in small amounts at a time
8. Add remaining 640 gallons of water to the mixing tank
9. Mix all ingredients for approximately 20 minutes prior to spraying
