REQUESTED PROFILES: - Community Manager - Project Management Assistant Job specifications: BIOCAPS (Biomedical Capacities Support Program) is a research initiative funded by the EU 7th Framework Program (REGPOT 2012-2013-1) to support the Institute of Biomedical Research (IBI) Ourense-Pontevedra-Vigo (Galicia, Spain), a newly established research institution of the public Galician Health Service (SERGAS) and the University of Vigo. The Institute has the goal of promoting basic, applied and traslational research in the biomedical field. The main objective of the BIOCAPS project is to strengthen a National Institute of Excellence in biomedical research bringing together the needs of the heatlth service and the scientific and technological offers, tackling the challenges of society through biomedical research and innovation. More information: http://ibivigo.webs.uvigo.es/ and http://biocaps.webs.uvigo.es/ Institute of Biomedical Research (IBI) Ourense-Pontevedra-Vigo is recruiting two positions within the framework of the European project BIOCAPS: - Community Manager (Reference: BIOCAPS/15-1) - Project Management Assistant (Reference: BIOCAPS/15-2) • COMMUNITY MANAGER (Ref.: BIOCAPS/15-1) Qualification requirements include MSc, PhD or equivalent degree, preferably in Translation and Interpreting in English language, with extensive knowledge of the field of biomedical research and experience in the management of web content and social networking. Its main function will be the generation and translation of content for the website of the Institute and for the dissemination of news and other information of interest through social networking and media. • PROJECT MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT (Ref.: BIOCAPS/15-2) Qualification requirements include MSc, PhD or equivalent degree, in health related areas, and a proven experience in biomedical research management and support. It requires extensive knowledge of national and international programmes of R&D and innovation, and the Galician and national business environment related to health and biotechnology. Its main function will be to support the senior researchers of the Institute and its research groups, helping them in the acquisition of financing for their projects, and adapting their proposals to the needs of the industrial and technological environment. Type of contract and duration: temporary work and 8-month service contract (until January 31st, 2016).
