** There is only one class for preschoolers this year, in
the morning. Preschoolers must be bathroom-trained. **
Art Start - Explore and learn about some important art basics. We’ll create works of art that have lots of different shapes and textures, and then
find out what happens when we mix colors. Instructor: Tami Walker,
Cloverdale - Artist, parent, and elementary school instructional assistant.
For those entering K-1st grade
Fly Away with Me - Can you paint with a feather? We’ll create pictures
and models of many different kinds of birds using crayons, pens, paper,
clay, paint, and even feathers! Make a pop-up card that changes eggs into
baby birds. Take a flight of creativity with me. Instructor: Renee Miller,
Otis - Former kindergarten/elementary teacher, extensive training and
experience in art education.
Amazing Authors and Artists - Do you have an imagination like Dr. Seuss?
Do you like to create colorful animals like Eric Carle? We will explore the

favorite authors. Instructor: Renee Miller, Otis - Former kindergar-
ten/elementary teacher, extensive training and experience in art education.

Magic Paintbrush - There are so many interesting creations that start
with a paintbrush. We’ll use tempera paint, watercolors, and acrylics while
trying different painting styles and printmaking techniques. Find out what a
jewelry loupe is and how to use it to see up close. Have fun with the artmaking process and watch the magic happen! Instructor: Linda Livingston,
Depoe Bay - Former classroom teacher, 13 years as children’s art teacher.
What’s in a Name? - Use your imagination to answer this question by creating beautiful artwork from the letters in your name. We’ll experiment

line, and color into your work. Instructor: Tami Walker, Cloverdale - Artist
and elementary school instructional assistant.
For those entering 5th-6th grade
