Chief Financial Officer
Earlier this year, Kevin Maddox joined the Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center’s
leadership team as Chief Financial Officer, bringing with him over twenty years
of experience as a chief financial officer in a community health center setting.
As Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center’s Chief Financial Officer, Kevin oversees the
organization’s yearly operating budget, while ensuring compliance with all
regulations concerning the expenditure of federal and state funds. Additionally,
Kevin produces monthly and annual financial statements, handles all budgeting and
forecasting, and oversees payroll, purchasing, and accounts payable/receivable.
Throughout Kevin’s career, he has been a leader, providing executive-level financial
guidance to community health centers in Colorado, Missouri, Mississippi and
Louisiana. Most recently, Kevin served as CFO for both Sunrise Community Health
and the North Colorado Health Alliance in Evans, Colorado.
During his twenty year career as a Chief Financial Officer, Kevin has experienced
consistent growth and progressive responsibility, accumulating many key skills

While Kevin’s career has revolved around numbers, he is more inclined to talk about
mission statements. Kevin is a strong believer in the health center’s mission to
“measurably improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve by
providing excellent and compassionate care, accessible to all,” and is committed to
doing his part to help the Center achieve that mission.
Kevin received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Northeast
Louisiana University in Monroe, Louisiana, and his M.B.A. from Louisiana Tech
University in Ruston, Louisiana.
