DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL AMBALA NURSERY HOLIDAY’S HOMEWORK Dear parents, Our students are very precious for us so,here we are giving some important measures that should be kept in mind while the child is doing the sheets. 1: Kindly ensure that the child takes good care of the worksheet. 2: Teach your child to sit in right posture. 3: The pressure of hand on the worksheet should be kept uniform. 4 : Follow the formation of alphabets and numbers and teach to write in between the lines only. 5: Don’t hold your wards hand too often while he or she is doing the homework. 6: You can print more sheets for practice. 7: Colouring strokes should be encouraged to be made in one direction. 8: Teach one good manner daily. Must do! 1: Encourage your child to eat healthy food and drink lots of water during summer. 2: Try to speak in English with your ward. 3: Make your child more independent by teaching him/her various activities like: a : Buttoning and unbuttoning the shirt b : Laying the table c : Folding mats and clothes d : Arranging their toy shelf e : Learn how to zip your school bag and clothes f : Sorting and pairing household items g : Segregating various sizes of buttons for sequential knowledge DPS wishes all of you happy and healthy summer holidays! Note : Buy a three in one notebook and do holiday homework in that for school record.Also practice the same in rough notebook to achieve perfection. As holiday homework is subject to assessment so do the work carefully. Also submit the holiday homework on 6th of july 2015. Have A Happy, Happening Break!! Yes! A holiday is supposed to be a break from studies, explanations and completing tasks. But are holidays supposed to make as irresponsible kids? So we are going to take up certain responsibilities and also enjoy our holidays with our families. Be A Smart Kid: 1. Learn to button your shirt. 2. Learn to put on your socks and shoes and tie your shoe laces. 3. Learn to spell and write your name. 4. Learn to tidy your room and keep your toys and books in place. 5. Learn to speak politely on the phone and also learn to receive messages. 6. Get up early in the morning and listen to the chirping of the birds and feed them with grains.you will fall in love with nature. 7. Make your grandparents happy by going for walk with them. 8. Remember the 4 magic words. Please, Thank you, Sorry and Excuse me. Make these a part of your personality. 9. Play outdoor games. Computer games are good. They sharpen your intellect, but what about the rest of your body? You need some exercise, don’t you? Go cycling, play badminton, cricket, kho-kho, catch, hide n’ seek…..anything that will make you run. 10. Drink plenty of lemon and Glucose rich drinks. General Instructions: 1) Do all the work in 3 in one notebooks. 2) Cover and decorate homework notebook. 3) Homework should be done under parent’s supervision. Follow the pattern done in notebooks. 4) Make sure all concepts must be revised once in the last week of vacation as it becomes easier for child to retain and adjust after a long break. 5) Parents must establish a set time each day for studying.
