Its attractive packaging and innovative design are second to none. • In addition to the United States, TNT® Fireworks distributes sparklers and fireworks to the United Kingdom, Canada and Puerto Rico. • More than 5,000 community and national organizations sell TNT® products as a fundraising event during the 4th of July. • Organizations that benefit from the sale of our products include a wide variety of youth, service, and religious organizations such as: High Schools, Booster Clubs, Little Leagues, AYSO, Pop Warner, Scouting, Kiwanis, Rotary, Elks, Lions, Moose, American Legions, VFW Posts, Churches, Youth Ministries, Knights of Columbus, and more. www.tntfireworks.com 3 FIREWORKS GIFT CARD FUNDRAISER MANUAL About The $20 Fireworks Bonus Voucher • You sell the $20 Fireworks Bonus Voucher for $20 • Fireworks Bonus Vouchers are provided 4 per sheet • Consumer gets the customer stub of the $20 Fireworks Bonus Voucher upon purchase (Right-hand Portion) • Customer can purchase and use multiple $20 Fireworks Bonus Voucher • Each $20 Fireworks Bonus Voucher includes an additional $10 off any purchase of $50 or more!!! 4 About The $20 Fireworks Bonus Voucher (continued) • $20 Fireworks Bonus Bucks are live and redeemable at specified location – Dates of Operation provided on Bonus Buck • Customer purchases the $20 Fireworks Bonus Voucher for $20 • They present Fireworks Bonus Voucher at designated TNT® Fireworks location • $20 Fireworks Bonus Buck cannot be combined with other coupon offers 5 About The Seller's Envelope Finally, it has payment and return instructions for the Seller as well. The back panel of the Seller's Envelope has a chart for the Seller to keep track of the $20 Fireworks Bonus Vouchers. Chairman should ensure that Master Tracker Spreadsheet is filled out and emailed back to their Area Manger by June 20, 2013. ENVELOPE SHOULD CONTAIN ALL PAYMENTS AND UNSOLD BONUS BUCKS Location #: TICKET # Name(who got the tickets) Account #: Email Address Group Name: Phone # 1 2 3 6 4 Assigning The Bonus Bucks & Seller's Envelope You will receive your pre-determined supply of $20 Fireworks Bonus Vouchers Once you have inventoried the $20 Fireworks Bonus Vouchers, you are ready to distribute. Distribute $20 Fireworks Bonus Vouchers to each seller. It is recommended to have a First Turn In Day one week after your Kick Off. More $20 Fireworks Bonus Vouchers can be distributed at this time to the sellers. Distribute a Seller’s Envelope and the Seller’s Brochure to each Seller. As you assign and distribute the materials, be sure to complete the Master Tracker Spreadsheet and email it back to your Area Manager. We recommend you do this using MS Excel on a computer so it can be easily updated and emailed to your TNT® Representative at the campaign's end. 7 Guidelines for a Successful Program Set a date with your TNT® Rep to “Kick Off” the program • The Kick-Off needs to be the focal point of this meeting with your group. • Your goal is to build up excitement in the group. Explain the goal to the sellers • The Big Picture – Explain to your group WHY you are selling the Fireworks Bonus Bucks. Example: To pay for uniforms; To cover travel expenses; To sponsor a Charity Offer a Challenge • Set a Goal – Challenge all of the members in your group to sell AT LEAST 5 Fireworks Bonus Vouchers. It’s a great idea to “sweeten the pot” by offering something like a Pizza Party for reaching the group goal. This will help to boost your sales 8 • Set a FIRST TURN IN Day • One week after your Kick-Off Day is the recommended First Turn In Day. • Collect all monies from your sellers at this point. This helps prevent “lost profit.” • Set a First Turn In Day Goal. Set a goal of at least 3 sales per person by the First Turn In Day. • Offer a First Turn In Day prize. This can be something small, but meaningful to them. Example: Candy; or if you are a sports team, give them a day without running laps - anything you can do to boost your sales and motivate your group. • Encourage them to KEEP SELLING • This is your opportunity to motivate the sellers for the second half of your program. • If your group has included a prize for the Top Sales person, or as a drawing for all that sell at least 6, remind them of this prize. • Remind them again of the “Big Picture” - “What are we raising money for.” 9 Scheduled Dates • June 3st, 2013 – “Kick-Off” Date • June 17th, 2013 – Last day to sell • June 20, 2013- Email your Master Tracker Spreadsheet to your Area Manager. Extend the Program if Needed • If your group has not met its goal and feels another week of selling would be best, communicate this with your TNT® Rep and consider adding another Turn In Day. • If you are waiting on just 1-2 sellers to turn in their sales, then end the program and deal with the those particular sellers.
