Bring your lunch and French-speaking friends and become fluent with the help of Gaelle, our 2015 French Language Assistant. All Bake sale - FRIDAY outside the hall Today Lunchtime (CHR) 10CHR are holding a bake sale to raise funds for the Kidzcan charity - delicious and mouth watering treats at fantastic prices and all the money goes to support less fortunate New Zealand children. Everything $1-.50cents, it'll be AWESOME!! All HELP PEOPLE IN VANUATU D19 Today (CLE) Hi there, if you would like to be apart of a group that is trying to help raise funds to support those harmed by Cyclone Pam in Vanuatu, we have our first meeting on Friday the 20th of March in D19 at lunchtime. Everybody is welcome! Our first event is next week so get involved. All Orienteering Secondary Schools Teams RelaySP1 Monday (ROL) Anyone interested in competing in this event should come to SP1 at the start of lunchtime today to collect information about the event and a permission slip. You do not need to have competed in earlier events to enter. It is open to anyone who wishes to have a go. It will be held on Thursday 30th April. Get a group of 4-6 friends together and come on Monday 23rd March to A2 at lunchtime with $5 to sign up. The best entries are usually based on famous paintings, so be ambitious! General EPSOM SUPPORTER JUMPERS: outside the Hall lunchtimes (zRAM) Prefects are selling Epsom Supporter Jumpers. You can use them for sports training's and games, music events or lazing around the house. $55 for sale outside the hall. Reminder this is not school uniform! Sports Trampolining Stadium Wednesday Lunchtime (RCC) Any students who would like to be involved in the EGGS Trampoline team this year need to come to an important meeting upstairs in the stadium on Wednesday 25 March. If you cannot make this meeting for any reason, please see Miss Richardson in the PE office. Thanks Sports SKIING S14 Today (zRAM) A reminder to all girls to get their consent and medical forms in to Mrs Webber in S14 by Friday otherwise you can't compete in trials. To girls who still want to sign up go see Mrs Webber in S14 as well during Tutor time. Sports LIFESAVING SING-UPS: Outside the pool Monday lunchtime (zRAM) If you are interested in joining or returning to the sport of Lifesaving this year, please come to a meeting on Monday 23rd March outside the pool. No experience is required. Sports SOCIAL HOCKEY-LAST CHANCE! Sports Table Tennis Students who signed up to play table tennis but did not attend Thursday's meeting must get a permission slip from Mrs Vaughan in D22, Ms Walker in R4 or student captain Doris Zhang. Forms and payment must be returned by Friday 27th March to confirm your place in a team. General Notices All Art students All (DEM) All 2014 Folio boards from 2014 year 11 and 12 Art students must be collected within the next two weeks. If your work is a 'benchmark' or you have been asked to loan it to the department as a resource you will be notified. Thank you. Art teachers! Thank you Careers Victoria University Career Talk Careers (RIG) Year 13s - Victoria University of Wellington will here on Monday 23 March in period 3 in DSO and at lunchtime and DSO (for those with a class in period 3). Please come along for an overview of what they have to offer. Careers Dunedin Tertiary Info Day 28 April Careers (RIG) Year 13s - Tuesday 28 April is the Dunedin Tertiary Information Day for Otago University and Otago Polytechnic. You (and your family) would need to make your own arrangements to attend this Day (the day after Anzac Day). Otago University will also be visiting school on Mon 20 April (first day back of term 2). Sports U15 Hockey Trial Sports (zHUR) The U15 hockey trial scheduled for Tuesday 24th March will now be on WEDNESDAY 25th March, 4.00-5.00pm. Sports Hockey Umpiring Sports (zHUR) Auckland Secondary Schools Hockey Association are looking for girls who are interested in becoming hockey umpires - you do not need to have umpired before. An experienced umpire will coach and mentor girls on a Monday or Tuesday night, where trainees will umpire the Under 15 grade games. Once trainees have reached a reasonable standard there is an opportunity to be reimbursed for umpiring secondary school games. Please come to the Sports Office to collect a registration forms.
