Interested or wondering if you are? Come along, bring your lunch. All Maths League Competition L7 Wednesday lunchtime (STL) The second Maths League competition is on this week Wednesday lunchtime in L7, for anyone in years 11 to 13. You don't have to have done the first competition to do this one. All Pasifika Learning Centre L11 Thursday After School (KRI) The Pasifika Learning Centre is open from this Wednesday Come along after school and join a group of enthusiastic and motivated students who are aiming to do well this year. You can access peer tutoring, one on one help from subject teachers and also get Tongan language and Samoan language tutoring. The centre operates every Wednesday from 3.30pm to 5pm. See you there. All Year 12 Self Portrait Exhibition Outside Hall (zSPE) To all students interested in Art, particularly Year 11 students; take some time over the next few days to check out the stunning self portraits created by this years' Year 12 Painters. The exhibition is located in the display cabinet outside the hall. All Vanuatu Metting S2 Today Lunchtime (HUT) There is a meeting at lunchtime in s2 for all students going to Vanuatu. If you are unable to attend the meeting at lunch you need to see Ms Heeney at interval. All Maths club L7 Wednesday lunchtime (STL) We will be practising at maths club for the maths competitions which are coming up: APSMO, NZMOSA, AMT. Arts/Cultural Art Club A11 Today lunchtime (BRE) All students and teachers working on the 100 flowers mural please meet in A11 at lunchtime on Monday the 4th of May to share ideas and progress and work on your artwork. General RUBBISH CAMPAIGN WEEK: General (zRAM) This week , the Sustainability Committee is supporting a campaign against litter to protect our oceans. Meet us in those special places where you eat your lunch. Do the right things and win prizes! Come along to find out more about Women's rights, domestic violence and how you can help. Everyone is welcome. Sports CURLING MEETING: D11 Today interval (zRAM) Anyone interested in curling, please come to a meeting in D11 at interval. It's a great sport and a fun way to spend time with friends and meet new people. No experience required. Please hand in to Ms Bax at Student Support All EGGS Japan Trip 2016 All (zMAC) To all students who studied/are studying Japanese and who will be Y11-Y13 students next year! There is a trip to Japan in April/May 2016 for two weeks. If you are interested, please come to P9 to get an application form this week and next week from Ms Harrison. All Film Society All (JOS) The list of films for the first part of this term is now available outside E25 and on the English noticeboard. There are still 9 students who have not paid. You will not be able to attend until you have paid so please do this before Monday May 4th. Don't forget to be at The Capitol cinema no later than 5.30pm on Monday. All Orienteering Individuals Championships All (ROL) Anyone interested in competing in this must get signed permission forms to Ms Roberts or Anna Parsons in S1 or Anna Crosby in L11 by Tuesday this week. Entry forms can be collected from Ms Roberts in Physics or by e mailing me for an electronic copy. It is being held at Woodhill forest on Weds 13th May during the school day. Arts/Cultural BEAUTY & THE BEAST TICKETS: Arts/Cultural (zRAM) Tickets for the AGS/EGGS production of Beauty & The Beast are available for $20 for students & $25 for Adults. Call 6235409 or go to www.ags.school.nz for tickets. Shows run from 29th of April to 9th of May. We are performing at the Aotea Centre on Thursday 25th June and we want as much EGGS support as we can possibly get. Talk to your friends in Stage Challenge or collect an order form from the Student Admin office or from Ms Rennie in Technology. Tickets are $42 each so start saving your pocket money! See Ms Rennie in Technology for more information. See you there. Arts/Cultural Little Art Show 2015! Arts/Cultural (DEM) The 2015 Little Art Show is 12 weeks away. Now is a good time to start working on what you will enter for this annual exhibition. See your teacher for suggestions. Careers Year 13s Massey Uni Career Talk Careers (RIG) Monday 4 May's period 3 career talk is from Massey University and will be held in DSO. Massey will also be in DSO at lunchtime for those students who have a class in period 3. Make sure you come along to one of these times if interested in possible study at Massey! Careers Whitecliffe College Open Days Careers (RIG) Year 13s - Whitecliffe College of Art and Design Open Days are held in June. There is a day for each of Graphic Design, Fashion design, Fine Arts and Photography. You will need to have PE gear and sports shoes. Any questions, please come to the Sports Office. Sports LIFESAVING Sports (zRAM) Bronze Star (Level 1) Tuesday or Wednesday - Depends on the day you have been assigned to with your instructors. Bronze Medallion (Level 2) Thursday. Year 13 Lumino Dentists Year 13 (zMAC) A reminder for all Year 13 students who are enrolled with Lumino Dentists that you need to make an appointment at the dental van so that where possible you can be seen in one of your free periods.
